In late 2015 I chose to pursue a skill set that would be of benefit to me in my coaching practice. Please see my review of the iNLP Center below. The review is a summary of how I acquired that skill!
I wanted to learn NLP because it fits very well with the trait of the Highly Sensitive Person due to the focus on Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic modalities. There are times in life when we need to “get out of our heads and in to our bodies”. NLP will make this a lot easier for you to accomplish!
I took my NLP certification at iNLP Center because I had been following Mike Bundrant’s blog for a couple years, not knowing at the time that I’d one day choose to become a Life Coach. Mike’s style and system of NLP spoke to me, and upon researching the iNLP Center, it was the obvious choice for me to acquire NLP skills.
I took the chance with online education because I have a day job that precludes me from attending in person. iNLP Center’s online system is very well thought out, and allows students to learn at their own pace. Their system is user-friendly, and very effective. Included are homework assignments and Stealth Missions, both of which require essay responses, and are graded to ensure understanding of the content. The audio and video files that accompany the majority of the lesson plan are very helpful, and I like being able to pause the recordings and review areas to ensure understanding.
I really enjoy the content of the NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner, and NLP Life Coach modules. The material is very unique – as a tenured Security Director in the Hospitality Industry I was not aware of just how unique and effective NLP can be! The NLP Life Coaching certification offers a wonderful opportunity to work one-on-one with Head Trainer Mike Bundrant. This is where the rubber met the road for me….I’ve learned so much from Mike that I continue to participate in his NLP webinars even after graduating!
My primary takeaways from the experience were learning how the mind works, and using that to benefit myself, my family, and clientele.
I am using NLP now to stay centered in life. The skill set is unlike any other. It must be experienced to fully understand.
The strengths of the iNLP Center are top notch trainers who really care about you learning and applying the NLP material.
The only weakness I see with the iNLP Center is the same as with any online format for those who just HAVE to physically sit in front of a trainer, you’ll need to consider another school.
I’d recommend people to the iNLP Center who are looking to understand themselves and others better, and build a skill set around proven concepts and techniques. I’ve taken a lot of courses over the years, from Carnegie and Covey to Breakthrough Leadership training. NLP training will work faster than any of these. I can’t think of a better place to learn it than the iNLP Center.
I’d discourage the following people from attending iNLP: those not open to considering, or able to attend online sessions. However, iNLP Center does offer a blended training program featuring custom 1-on-1 private NLP training over the phone or Skype.
Overall, enroll in NLP practitioner training if you want to better yourself by learning something new and exciting that you can benefit from every day!
